Jasmine's sublime, intoxicating odor is captured at night, when it's white, star-like blossoms are handpicked. It takes over a million blossoms to distill a pound of oil, which accounts for it's high price. This oil is properly diluted in jojoba oil to enjoy as an exquisite perfume.

Sandalwood
Sandalwood essential oil is distilled from the heartwood of the tree, which ideally is harvested at age thirty years. The best sandalwood comes from India. Sandalwood has a long history of use in perfumery, medicine, and rituals. It is a great scent for men and women.

Patchouli
Patchouli oil is distilled from the green and aromatic patchouli herb. Prior to distillation it is crushed and slightly fermented, which accounts for it's earthy and sensual odor. Patchouli is an oil that tends towards a love/hate relationship: we're either very attracted to it or equally repelled. Patchouli has excellent cell regenerating properties, making it an a good skin care oil, is aphrodisiac, and helps repel insects.
