Sylvia Stevens, MA, CMT, graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in April of 2000 and joined New Moon Bodywork and Botanicals in June of 2002. She strongly believes that each body knows best how to heal itself; therefore, her practice incorporates hands-on treatment with active communication, intuition and client education. continued »

Heather Gilbert, CMT, CR, graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in 2005, where she received training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Hot Stone Therapy. Prior and subsequent to joining New Moon, Heather works at Koth Therapy & Fitness employing therapeutic techniques to patients with acute injuries, recent surgery, and/or chronic conditions to relieve pain, swelling and scarring, as well as giving general stress relieving/health maintenance massages. Heather recently completed a 200 reflexology certification program, and is a nursing student at CSM.

Joleen Johnson LE, CR, CMT, has been a licensed esthetician since 1987, after completing training at Von Lee in 1986, and has had subsequent training in skin care at the International Dermal Institute. She graduated from Baltimore School of Reflexology in 2007 and was certified shortly after. Joleen has also completed level I Reiki training with Monica Parsley of Zone Dynamics. A recent graduate of the professional massage therapy program at Anne Arundel Community College, she has passed the National Certification Exam for masage and is now seeing massage clients at New Moon.
